And that really is all I need say about how completely fabulous and amazing and gripping this series is; when you finish one of the books you'll immediately find yourself compelled to instantly hoover up the next one, and the next, until that horrible moment you come to the last book to come out and discover the next isn't published yet, and then you're temporarily paralysed with abject disappointment and the vicious need to know what happens next. This is one of THOSE series, one of the ones that has characters so realistically and completely fleshed out that they almost seem like people you've actually met, you come to know them so well. What makes J.R. Gray's Bound series so exceptional, though, is that he has been able to do that with a remarkable number of story lines and characters, weaving them and occasionally intersecting them together. I adore George and Jesse as a couple and I'm really liking seeing their relationship unfold, especially since it's an actual unfolding and not been an instant given that came too easily, nor been a constant angsty drama-filled struggle, but just right. Then there's Zac - oh my gosh, how I love him. He is ridiculous and genuine and an absolute ar$e and I want to take him home and keep him. His interactions with his brother are especially hysterical. He'a also a true enigma and I really want his backstory (and George's).

This series started as a semi dark BDSM venture with a decent mystery and turned into a suspense driven mystery thriller that has gone way beyond expectations. Each book is better than the last. You definitely need to start with the first book but the story arc will take you places u wld not suspect from the start and there is no way it is finished with this installment. Don't skip over the short novella that is book 3. It is important to the story.
I look forward to the next installment. If the trend continues 5 stars will not be a high enough rating.
This is one hell of a series. It has love, compassion, intrigue, suspense and hot sex! Each character is unique in their own way. Author J.R. Gray knows his characters well, he takes you along on their trials and tribulations and sometimes its a merry go round spinning out of control! I enjoyed Damages Incurred as much if not more than Legally Bound, Breach of Contract and Illicit Activity. The ending was a surprise, or shock and leaves much to your imagination to figure out! This is an enticing series you will want to read! Thank you J.R. Gray for sharing!
I have given this book a 5-star rating because that is the highest i can choose on here. It deserves way more! There has to be another book coming because the story isn't finished. The roller coaster ride keeps you addicted. I read the four books that are out in two days. I have been absolutely enthralled with these books. The characters are intriguing. I sat on the edge of my seat mostly during this book. I loved the first three, but this one...WOW! There are things that haven't been answered yet and that has me on edge. I have no patience whatsoever. Hopefully a fifth book to clear up everything will be out soon. If it's coming I will be putting down whatever I am reading at the time to finish this story. This is a must read series! It will captivate you. J. R. Gray's writing is amazing!
I have been a fan of J.R. Gray's writing for some time now. So when I read the first installment of the Bound series (Legally Bound) I was not surprised. It just made me a bigger fan. As we progressed into Book 2 Breach of Contract, J.R. brought me so deeply into the lives of these characters that I was truly invested in their lives, relationships and what the future held for them - fictional characters or not, they mattered. On to Illicit Activity (#3) and you're brought in even more. But none of them prepared me for #4 - Damages Incurred. I was cursing out J.R. through my knowing in my heart that J.R. could and would hear me. I yelled at my when the stories of Jesse and George or that of Zac's turned in ways that I did not want them to. J.R. Gray is truly one of my favorite authors and has ruined me for all other books and authors. All will be compared to the genius that is J.R. Gray. Never one to include spoilers or ruin the reading experience for the next reader, I will not reveal anything. Only this, get the Bound Series now! You will not be disappointed. Then buckle yourself in and prepare for the roller coaster ride of your life.
